Grocery shopping
It takes at least four hours: we buy nuts in one place, berries in another, we order organic superfoods on iHerb. It is important for us that only the best ingredients are in our kitchen, even if they are more expensive or if we have to go to the other end of the city to get them.
Preparation of ingredients
Before cooking the dessert, we need to thoroughly wash and prepare all the ingredients. For example, soak nuts for 6-10 hours to boost their beneficial properties.
Preparation
Our desserts are not baked, but that doesn’t mean we cook them quickly. Each layer of dessert needs an hour and a half to harden. There are 3-4 such layers in the cake.
Freezing
After the dessert is ready, it must spend another 6 hours in the freezer for it to set properly. Therefore, we have not one, but 3 freezers.
Decor
Before delivery, we decorate cakes and cupcakes with fresh berries and flowers, cover bars and candies with chocolate. This is a delicate job that takes about an hour per cake.
Packaging
Each dessert, even a small cupcake, must be carefully packed so it does not tip over during transportation. Packaging has to be not only neat, but also nice: we believe that the pleasure of dessert begins with packaging.
Delivery
We bring desserts to the door and hand them personally. Delivery takes from an hour to two, depending on your city.
